" Extremely dangerous blues ! "

Born in Charlotte (North Carolina), grown up in the " Blues Infested " town of Chicago, Jay Gordon was always haunted by electric blues. In the tough Windy City, he was playing in juke joints, night after night, becoming a real close friend of one of the best : the late Albert Collins. During these twenty years of friendship, he opened very often for Mr. Collins.

In the early 90's, Jay left Chicago for Los Angeles and formed the Jay Gordon Blues Band. After three years in Hollywood he teamed up with West Coast legend Phillip Walker. Touring gigs with his own band, Jay Gordon finally played to 200.000 blues fans at the Buffalo Chip Festival, Sturgis, in 1999, with artists well known as Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special and Paul Rogers.

Jay?s main influences are: Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Muddy Waters and Johnny Winter (for the slide part). His touch is sensitive and always full of energy, fast and speed like a dragster.

This album is his very first European release. So folks, there’s no time to loose, get ready for a trip in the land of the " Extremely Dangerous Blues ! ".
